Thanks for the kind words on my car, I would have done the "Silk Beige/Satin Red" interior if I could have, but has been pointed out in another thread they make that selection very expensive. Easy to get if you by a S63 or S65 or AMG, if you buy a S500 and want that interior you have to get almost every rear seat option for some reason. Plus, it adds $8,600.00 for Silk Beige/Satin Red....and the red is really a brown with a hint of red....very misleading name.

Anyway.....I ended up ordering the car and waiting over 100 days to get it. Mainly because I wanted the Bermester High End 3D sound system. So I could not find it in any cars in stock in my Metro area that had everything else I wanted. About he Bernester...I am mainly happy with it. Not as blown away as I thought I would be, don't get me wrong it is great. But, I got a custom system in my Ford F250 pickup and it sounds almost as nice as the Bermester....seriously. One thing about the Bermester that is cool, you can set the sound to be specially tuned for a particular seat....so I keep it tuned for the drivers seat naturally. The drawback to that is if I have a car full of people I turn it off or focus it on another seat and it does not sound near as good as when it's focused on your seating position.

Went over something big, the front went up and the rear went down. It's fixed now but I might as well share it.

Yeah, was about to get a S Class with the 20" from the factory, then this car became available and I couldn't wait no longer. My son persuaded me into the Vossens, thanks to Mikes pictures of 22" on the S Class. Would have got 22" if there wasn't any insurance problems.

Also, did you lower the car, and if so, how?

Added a chip. The place I took my car to installed it and hooked it up to a computer. I lowered it around an inch all the way around.

A chip? What chip is it? I'd like to lower my car and thought I could do it through star, but people are saying otherwise.

There are some cheap ones under $1k but Nice ones are $1500-$1800. What's nice you can lower the car to your liking (1mm increments for each wheel and save different settings) and the car will raise itself above 30mph to stock setup so that no alignment is required.

More expensive than links but cheaper than premature tire wear...
