S500 2015
What's your opinion about my build ?
Hi there!
Just received my piece of luxury in Dubai where it's called S500 2015 instead of S550.
These are my car specifications
What's your opinion and what do you think about it ?
It cost me 650,000 AED which equals 176,962.24 USD
I know it's expensive but that's the price in the Middle east and I know with this
Amount of money I can get S63 but keep in mind that the basis price of the S500 in the Middle east is Around 138,000 USD.
I didn't add the chauffeur package and executive seats because it will make the car with 2 seats in rear only which doesn't fit my personal needs and mostly I will drive my car instead of being chauffeured but i got also the rear seats massage function.
In addition to that I didn't add the 3D high end burmester because it will cost 8000 USD more which will be enough to get the best home theater and I heard the standard burmester sound and actually it was more than enough and most customers there didn't upgrade to the 3D one.
Otherwise the last missing thing was the diamond stitching which costs around 6000 USD with no actual benefit or such a difference .
What's your opinion guys ?? Is my car Great enough?? because I feel like sorry why I didn't add these things when I see other cars equipped with options my car misses,which actually won't benefit me or suits me.

Actually I don't care about what people feel about my car but of course you have experinced that feeling of sorry because you don't have something you see at others car while in fact you don't actually need it but it's the human nature.

Good luck and do what makes you happy. Your car will be gorgeous no matter what.
Don't push yourself financially if that is a consideration. That being said, if you are on the fence about something, I would go for it because in the end, you don't want to regret not getting something.

Thanks you guys for sharing your opinions,I'm pretty satisfied with my car now!
Btw I want to mention that the way the car gets
Connected to the internet in Dubai is totally different as cars here in Middle east uses your phone data connection by Bluetooth or USB.
Bluetooth transfer rates are so slow which lead to slow internet connection
I haven't tried the USB connection,but I think it will be much faster.
I noticed that some times the front passenger seat massage function doesn't work while the car parked,have you experienced something like that?

You did well with your build. Other options can be a bit excessive and don't offer much bang for the buck. Just wondering since you mentioned you lived in Dubai: What is it that you do for a living?

WOW! Glad to hear that is an option because the current data speeds in the car are VERY SLOW and I believe the system is only 3G.
I am sure based on what you have said, someone will figure out how to make U.S. cars use Bluetooth or USB and in which case I would get a mobile hotspot and plug it into the USB.

we have a thing for glamorizing some of our citizens, especially the beautiful ones
your car looks great in the photos you shared, must be a nice camera: one thing I'd like to respectfully ask about it the AMG badge on the boot lid: we have a saying about that: no engine (meaning AMG), no badge

When I order my car I saw sport package and AMG floor mats+AMG 20 in wheels so I chose them for my car,later on when I received my car I asked the sales man isn't my car AMG ? Why there is no AMG Badge,He said it comes only with AMG Engines but no problem I will get you AMG Badge From our service centre for free as a gift I said OK!
it costs around 200$ but he gave it to us for free.
Did anybody notice the touchpad issue that I mentioned in the last comment ?
