Very nice! How long was your trip and was it mostly Interstate travel? I get MUCH better gas mileage on the highway even with the AC on all the time and mine is 4Matic as well. I don't know if it's the standard 18 inch wheels or what. I average between 28.5 and 31 mpg on the highway depending on wind conditions. I don't drive like an "old lady" either. My highway speed runs between 70 and 80 mph depending on the speed limit.
The car is great: comfortable, full of amenities.....and looks good too
Nightvision is amazing; much better than the 2011 E I had, gas mileage was okay, about 21 per gallon with the AC on the whole time.

I assume based on the first pic from Hyperion and some other posts from Hyperion on another thread that this gas mileage of 21/gal was with the roof top carrier bars installed and the large cargo carrier box installed (first pic had the roof top carrier bars on the car). Is my assumption true? If so this 21/gal is more understandable.
Still waiting to achieve BeanTrader's fuel economy on a road trip, I typically only get around 27 mpg.
Great to see , you are having fun and enjoy your W222
At the 1st picture, the angle of the camera makes your W222 more gorgeous
Happy Days
thanx Sir, makes it look really long eh?
