anybody know if there's a way for the eco button to start at its last chosen setting, so we don't have to push the eco button every time we get in the car.

does pushing the AMG button do something?

It's been asked a lot, but on cars with NTG4 it can actually be disabled with a module. On the 222, though, with NTG5 it doesn't look like it can. I would ask this seller that sells these modules if he can disable it for the 222:

He's got modules that work with the older systems (like the 212 E) that disable ECO.
