W222 S550
Question Looking for a part number

I own a 2014 W222 S550. I am not a big fan of the wood wheel. It looks great, but I find it very hot on summer days when you return to the car. I also do not like that the wood section is not heated in the summer. Furthermore, I feel leather is easier to hold as my hand has slipped a bit on the wood wheel once or twice.

Therefor, I have decided I want to purchase a black S63 steering wheel with the heated option. I do not have any of the driver assist stuff, so wheel does not need to vibrate. My dealer has not been a huge help finding the right part number. Can anyone here help or point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

They way the guy was talking... he was not confident he would order the correct wheel. I guess with the wood, heat and vibration, there are many options. I will go back tomorrow and try to figure this out. Thought I would try here first. Thought someone may have had the same feelings on the wheel as I do.

Thanks!

If they can find a S63 with similar options, they can get the part number off that build.

I bet you can save a ton of cash by just getting a leather or sheepskin custom cover made for your steering wheel.

If we knew the car options, the current steering wheel part number (the car VIN), we could look at another steering wheel that has the same options except wood.

But the wheel won't be fully heated as the wood under the cover still wont be heated.
