Hi, On my dads W222 S350 Sedan there is a remote controller for the media system and its reception is terrible i have to lean over to the middle to get it to work, On another w222 i tried the remote and it works flawlessly from where i was sitting without having to lean all the way,I tried replacing the batteries, and even trying another remote but its still the same this wasnt an issue in the other W222 i tried, So I think maybe something is blocking the IR receiver for the media remote?, Does anyone know where the receiver for it is?. And if anyone had the same issue..I cant control the music etc from the rear because of this!

I thought the W222 remote control devices were not IR but RF?
