Questions please
Picked up w222 yesterday. Everything seemed familiar enough and drove home. I still have w221 and there are differences that seem mostly related to command entries.
Problems
Navigation while driving? Cannot enter nav with controller knob while moving? Even passenger should be able be able to search. Should be able to look for gas station or hotel while moving. W221 you can search or enter in nav while driving.
Seats do not adjust. Dynamic does select but does nothing. Lumbar, side bolster, and shoulders do not take settings entries. This must be a software or something problems effecting seats. I can bring up settings, adjust to numbered setting, but it reverts back to zero and the seats do not work. Door adjustments are working fine. Massage works.
How do i get sat radio to go to sat station number 2 in presets using touchpad? Old style you just push the button on touch pad to select another preset. Can't you just enter saved station number 2 on touchpad somehow?
Can you make heads up automatically on all the time and turn off when you select to? This is probably something they want you to select each time you get in the car.

Looks like the command was not programmed or set up correctly during PDI or delivery.

Thanks heads up did come on automatically. Unfortunately the nav didn't get better. Doesn't operate when moving even with passenger in car. Verbal commands for nav work badly.
Seat problems means a trip back to dealer. Mbrace people couldn't tell me anything except nav doesn't work when moving.
Figured out how to scroll left to right on touchpad to stations but cant seem to just draw a number on touchpad to go to satellite station saved. I will keep playing with things.

in regards to the seat functions: I've found the dynamic side bolsters don't work much when you have the seats set at high settings......by that I mean the setting of 10 for lumbar support for example, will make the side bolsters inactive......
these seats get some getting used too, and I'm still working with them

Definitely a problem with seats or pump or fuse or command, no settings thru command including massage are working.
This is not the memory seat settings on the door. That works.
I do know the side bolsters when set on high dont do dynamic well. The side bolsters dont even take a setting just revert back to zero. Going back to the dealer tomorrow.
Pain in the *** literally.

Service said the seats were in a shut down mode. Software related to something they were not sure what did it. Hope that is the last of problems.
