On the S550 coupe, does the Sport button change the Exhaust/Exhaust note?
Can anybody confirm if that actually happens?
I have a Maserati GT Sport and need a little RAWR from my car.

Thanks
Thanks. I sat in one that was sold on the lot.. the interior really is on another lvl. I'm just not sure if I can live without the growl of the GT Sport.
Right now I'm between a Ghibli QS4 and the S550. We'll see after the test drive.
Thanks again
That's what I'm thinking. Have to research easy options for doing that. I tend to keep my cars for a year, so want to be able to flip it back easily.
As for the ghibli, I love the outside, just concerned about a lot of the quality issues it's been having.

I know that the new GT-AMG has exhaust settings, but not the S-Class Coupe
The Ghibli SQ4 I ordered just arrived at my dealer this week. So going to check it out on saturday. Being about $45k cheaper... unless the S550 blows me away, I won't mind too much not getting it.
We'll see.

Yep, cause they use Ferrari engines

<<<@!1!@>>>
The Ferrari engine in there is going to make you buy it
It sounds incredible. Would you at least post pictures of it when you see it this week?I wish the S coupe sounded like that^

Can you please share where that info is coming from?
I checked and the S63 AMG exhaust has indeed the variable flaps that one is S/M mode. I can't find any info re. the S550C nor did the car sound different when driving it in C versus S (i didn't listen to it standing though...)
Kick it up a notch (and activate “sport” modes of both the powertrain and air suspension) and the S550 shrinks a size, exhibiting a surprising athleticism through in the responsiveness of the 449-hp 4.7-liter engine, aggressive exhaust note, predictive downshifts of its seven-speed automatic, and linear, well-weighted steering. It is effortlessly fast, with virtually no turbo lag and a very fat powerband, with all 516 lb-ft of torque available at just 1,800 rpm.

Will have to drive the car again and listen to it with an open window or standing (or have my hearing checked)

I must have started it 5 times haha, sounds really, really nice for not being an AMG
