Question S550 Coupe heated steering wheel? Warmth/comf pkg?

Hi all I can't seem to get the steering wheel heater to work? The door panels and arm rests heat fine when I turn on the heated seats but no steering wheel heat? I looked in the manual with my sales person and it acts like there all tied together? Please advise.. I'm sure it something simple. I Hate to think I'm already having probs with this car after 300 miles. The trunk won't stay shut if I attempt the lock from trunk lid method. I'm already tired of the dealership.. After one week of ownership! I thought for sure getting rid of the S63 sedan would cause me less time in service and more time thanks in advance!

S550 Coupe Ownership

Hi trimblemont, the car shifts and sounds perfect for a luxury cruiser. Very nice ride quality. It appears this car will have a lot of the same nagging problems of the prior CL. I once heard a CL owner say "wish I'd bought two" so he would have one to drive while the other wasin the repair shop. It's just things like the stereo is no way near as good as the previous Harmon kardon, and the seat ventilation on my ford F150 is far superior! I wonder why Audi/Lambo and Lexus can get small details right but MB USA can't? Oh well...

I assume you're doing this, but you hadn't mentioned it in your note. I snipped this from my W222 S sedan manual, but the same instructions appear in the 2015 S coupe manual on page 111:

If so, these sort of things are generally a power issue, your on-board voltage being too low. How often are you driving the car?

adc88...Please see the post by jrpisha.

The underpinnings and systems on the S Coupe are lifted from the current S550 Sedan, which has been highly rated. In the multitude of reviews I've read on the S Coupe, I haven't seen people comment on your issues. I think it's a leap to assume that the Coupe will be a service headache.
Good luck !

Ok Now I fell like an idiot Thanks for all the help guys You'll know way more than the sales people. So the only regret I have now is not coughing up the Extra $ for the 3D Burmister Sound. That's all on me!

Kindest regards, Andrew

15 s550v4 Thanks for the posts on turning on the heated wheel ! I'm in FL and had my first opportunity to try it and could not figure how I'm going to try it as we are freezing here @ 55 degrees
