I think your question should have asked "what is the appropriate money factor and residual % based on how long you are leasing for and how many miles you are allowed on your lease". You simply may not have gotten any response since you are only asking "what should my monthly payment be". The details are "in the weeds".

mtrauman is correct; we need a *lot* more detail from you to even begin to calculate a lease payment. but i will help out by teeing up the questions that you need to answer, and, once answered, i will calculate for you the lease payment. however, until you provide these answers, it is not possible to help you. leases are very complicated; you need to go in educated. otherwise, the dealer will line his pockets with your money. er, the dealer will line his pockets even more than he will anyway. tough love here, i know. but it still amazes me today with all the information that is available on the internet and the like the number of people that will enter into a six-figure transaction and have NO idea what the numbers in the deal are, how to calculate them or what this transaction is really going to cost in total.
1/ msrp? got it. good.
2/ agreed upon selling price? got it. good.
3/ ny state administration fees (license plate, title, e-file, documentation, etc). NEED THIS
4/ acquisition fee is $795. dealer can mark up to $1,095. is he? NEED THIS
5/ residual factor for 10k miles/36mos. dealer needs to tell you this. NEED THIS
6/ in order to understand the money factor for your interest portion of the lease, we need to know if you have "tier one" credit as defined by mbfs? mbfs needs to tell you this. NEED THIS
7/ tax rate for leases in the county in which you reside. NEED THIS
8/ do you plan on putting cash down? NEED THIS
9/ do you have a trade? what is the dealer giving you for the trade? NEED THIS
10/ are you going to buy and residualize any of the after-sale upcharge options like maintenance, wheel and tyre warranty, ext/in protection packages, dent protection, etc? NEED THIS
11/ what is the over mileage charge at the end of the lease? NEED THIS
12/ what is the lease disposition fee at the end of the lease? NEED THIS
i'm here to help. when you're ready.

Looks like a great car, but I would just throw something out there.
Buy it in Canada.
The USD/CAD conversion rate has change a lot recently - configurize your car here http://www.mercedes-benz.ca
20% savings possible. 1 USD = about 1.2 CAD as of today and Merc priced those cars based more on a "par" value I think from what I have seen.
Not sure what extra fees or taxes you have when you bring the car into the States, and I also do not know about warranty issues, but this was one of the reasons I struck quickly on my vehicle purchase actually.

thank you, jenz. i honestly wasn't trying to scare off anyone. quite the opposite really. i want to educate those that need help in this area. i have seen far too many posts like this where people just ask for the lease price having no clue what goes into determining the amount. i truly hope the o/p comes back with the answers to my questions so i can then calculate the lease payment for him and "show my work" (like in grade school! hahahahaha) and maybe others can learn from it as well. there are "hidden" pockets of money in lease deals that dealers take that can be avoided if you understand where they are and how to negotiate them away. but i guess it's just easier and more fun to just ask and get a simple answer instead of trying to understand the true mechanics of the lease calcs, and, ergo, how much it is really going to cost to run these fine machines for a finite definite period. i know i work too hard for my money to just fork it over without understanding for what and where it is all going and to give myself a fighting chance to save thousands by letting the dealer know that i know what i am doing so they cannot take advantage. to each his own. shrug.

Is 7% realistically the ongoing discount? I'm in the market too, but looking to purchase. Penfed currently offers 6.6% negotiated discount certs if you finance it through their truecar buying partner service.

Now, I did get mine in December and MB was giving $4K off a new S, and with that, I got 12% off a $115K special order car, here in So. California. 7% doesn't sound that great. I would think that the car you are considering might not be such a hot seller. For that money, it should have Exclusive Nappa and that Rear Seat Entertainment Pkg, along with the Exec. Seating are options very few are willing to pay for. I'd really push for 12+% on this car.
10% off would be a good deal. I got more than that, but in December MBFS had 4k incentive monies. To be honest, I am so pleased with the vehicle, that getting less of a discount would not have bother me a great deal. I bought one off the lot, instead of ordering one, which I normally do, and it wasn't the exact color combo but had heads up and night vision, which I wanted. I use the car mainly for road trips to my weekend place, and it is just amazing. My only regret is that I didn't get one sooner. I have been looking at them since the launch, but typically lean toward BMW and Porsche, but the 2015 S is a winner. Good luck with purchase!

AMG cars are for people of means who have not yet grown up and who don't yet realize that the city streets are not the same as their PlayStation12 video games. When I see one of these overpowered, over sprung, over shod monsters, stuck in bumper to bumper traffic next to me, I just can't help but break a wide grin. AMG cars are for those who constantly have to prove that theirs is bigger than yours. It really is pathetic. Can you even imagine what I think of the various Brabus and other "tuner" cars? Man! Yours must be sooooooo much bigger than mine!

Something like an S63 or an S65 is very cool--for a few days. After you have aced the appropriate freeway on ramp a few times, putting yourself at risk of a big ticket and everyone around you at risk of their well being, reality sets in and you realize that the multiple tens of thousands you spent to outclass us mere peasants who drive pedestrian S550's, was money flushed down the toilet. In addition, you start to notice that the ride isn't really comfortable, the seats that are supposed to hold your *** in place as you take corners at 1G (yeah, right) are not very comfortable for a ride over ten minutes and why did I think that exhaust note was so cool, when now I wish it would just go away? Either way, we all really can't take advantage of all the capabilities these cars offer. We are just driving too slow here

Btw, AMG seats are quite comfy, just like the standard S-class ones...
Been there, done that. 100% classic BS. Go elsewhere whenever you hear this. Or PM me for dealer contact of someone who does not mess around and is willing to wisely negotiate.

4/ ok
5/ no way residual is $45,000 on a $122,000 car after 3yr-10mi/yr for that is like 36%-37%. try again. and let me know what the real number (or percentage) is. btw - if the dealer IS quoting you such a low residual, run away. fast. this is set by mbfs monthly and not the dealer; he cannot change it. so he is either jokin you or has no clue what he is doing.
6/ ok
7/ i wrote COUNTY - not countRy. what is the tax lease rate for the COUNTY in which you reside in ny?
8/ ok but i agree with others - you should put nothing down as a cap cost reduction for it is a foolish move. but it's up to you.
9/ ok
10/ ok
11/ ok
12/ lease dispostion fee is set by mbfs and has nothing to do with dealers or changing dealers. it is a set number they will charge you if you do not buy or release at the end of the lease term. i think the current rate is $595 but you should confirm this for me.
ok. better job, bluetecking. please let me know when you have the rest of the details sorted; i need them for accuracy. a few thoughts on your responses. some will require more work on your part.
