9 speed auto for S550

Any recent news on when this transmission might be available on the S550V ?

This may not be a good thing. I wouldn't want to b the first one with the new 9 speed.

+100 on that. With MB in near panic mode dealing with all of their CLA, GLA, W205 & other problems, I am thinking it very wise to steer clear of most any new release item. From now on, I will try to wait for the mid cycle refresh of every model before I will jump in. MB corporate and MB dealers have way too much on their plate right now and the overall luxury car ownership experience is suffering.
