Anything missing on this S550??
Hi I am a new member and new to mercedez. Ive always loved their cars,but I love the reliability of my LS 600hL which I am planning on trading in for a CPO S550 because this new redesign is leading the industry. Im not sure on what options are and are not included and how much haggling room I have.

Let me know if it is also a good deal. Im looking for LKA, Radar Cruise Control, and possibly the upgraded sound sytem. I would love the upgraded system so I dont have to aftermarket my whole system.

This car doesn't list Distronic Plus (radar cruise control) and I don't see its little plastic square in the center of the front grille.

You didn't ask this, but know that the current S comes with no jack or spare wheel/tire and with run flat tires. Coming from an LS, that has a full size, matching aluminum wheel spare, this can be a shock. That said, the S is brand new, while the poor LS is approaching being a decade old.

I wouldn't trust this write up on auto-trader as I immediately see 2 typos which lead me to question anything they say: 8 speed transmission? Xenon headlights? The 2014 only had a 7 speed tranny and all lighting is LED.
As someone else said, from the pics it appears it does not have distronic plus (radar cruise control).
I would want to see a window sticker for what is on the car as the write up this dealer did is not trustworthy. I wouldn't deal with this dealer unless you spend the time to learn the car better than they know it.

All 2014 + US S-Class have Burmeister sound systems. The upgraded system is called Burmeister 3D (a $6400 option) and most cars do not have this. You need to verify the options you want on the car by checking the original sticker or physically inspecting the car. These dealers apparently are using a generic description from which we can infer that this car is (relatively) "stripped".

Rearview camera is standard, but the 360 surround camera is definitely not.
Look at the second picture that shows the front grill. It's missing the flip open flap in the front grill where the front camera and distronic sensor would be. Compare that against my picture.

Ah every car has a give away for the radar cruise and I forgot it was the plastic on the grille rather ugly as Lexus hides it in the emblem on the grill I wish they wouldve went with the SCoupe grill in my opinion but that's irrelevant. The lack of a spare tire doesn't bother me though it is surprising seeing as how my old 750i even had one and it was also run flat. But I'll most likely throw rims on it eventually like my LS so that's not a big deal for me. Any owners say the Magic Body Control as a must have also I test drove one without one and it drove good.

This listing is for a used car lot, not an authorized new car dealer, let along a Mercedes dealership. The MB CPO warranty is second to none but only available from a Mercedes dealer.
