Touchpad not working (sometimes)
My touchpad used to work. …. then it stopped for a while… then it worked again…. now it is not working.

Is there some trick to get it to work?

Sounds like a faulty touchpad. Happened to mine, couldn't click down or register touches occasionally. Get it replaced at the dealer.

when i took delivery the specialist told me the pad only works if you start a process with the pad, if u start using the wheel then switch to the pad mid process, it won't work. i love the idea of the pad but seems kind of useless to me due to the voice control being pretty good.

Thanks! I will give it a fresh look. I know it works 'sometimes' …. sort of hard if I don't see the pattern and take it to the dealer when it happens to be working.

I took it in a while back and the dealer replaced.

Forgive me as I'm sure it's in the manual but how does one distinguish between a zero and the letter O when entering a phone number?

It's a software issue. There is a service bulletin out for that...

Software update fixes that. No hardware replacement required.
