2016 s550 White/Nut Brown
I am driving a 2014 7-series and can't wait to get rid of it. My secretary is on a first name basis with EVERYONE in the dealership service department. We make monthly visits. UGH. Never again is all I can say. Yes the car drives like a dream and is very comfortable but the reliability is insanely poor. I simply don't have enough time in my life to deal with this sort of nonsense. Looking at a 2016 S550 as my next car when my lease is up in 5 months.

Correct, and same with Range Rover. Remember, you are still going to have issues with a $100k+ German car, but Mercedes isn't as bad as the others.

2014 S550
That's odd! Mom drives a 2015 Range Rover LWB SC - just one issue - the screen blacks out once in a while and reboots.

Dad drives a 2014 BMW 750Li X Drive Individual - not a single problem.

I put about 1000 miles on the rover in the past 2 weeks.

Zero issues (except my fuel bill).

I have no first hand knowledge of the 7 series reliability but I can attest to the reliability of my 2014 S550 4matic before it was totaled in a traffic accident just over a week ago (2016 S550 4matic on order) with 16000 miles on the clock.

The reliability of my '14 was excellent with two minor exceptions--one the brakes were very loud when the car was put into reverse--MB changed all brake pads and solved that issue under warranty and two my seat leather separated at the headrest--MB replaced the seat under warranty. Otherwise extremely reliable for a 1st year of a new model. Hopefully my 2016 will be as reliable--I am sure it will be.

Oh and did I mention, the '14 saved my life--just a small thing!
