Here in Houston we have Mister Car Wash, automatic one, 19.99 per month unlimited wash, i literally wash my car every day and it takes 2-3 mins and you car is clean, pretty sure you should have similar car washes in Cali

I limit how much washing I do on my own because I see the flaws up close and they increase in number as time moves towards infinity, solve for y.

Who does the dry off/finish work? At the place where I get my cars washed, the finish work alone takes 15 to 20 minutes.

I hope Cali sinks into the fkn ocean, 3 bucket method works great when water is tight. Good luck bro.

I guess when it sinks into the ocean, water restrictions be damned!

Why all the hatred for a state trying to deal with a scarce resource?

way easier. Park the car under florescent lights and take a pic.

Any car that gets washed regularly, even with the 2 bucket method and utmost care, will have some swirl marks.

Years ago, I flew to Orlando for a convention. It was dusk when I got into a taxi at the airport and I noticed these "birds" swarming around those really tall highway lights. I asked the driver why those "birds" we're acting like that and he said "those are not birds mister, those are BUGS!

I don't mind folks disparaging California. We have our problems, but living here is like living in paradise. For someone from Florida--I mean FLORIDA, PLEASE!!!--to say anything negative about CA, is just plain jealousy--but certainly understandable.

Ah. Should be about 73 degrees today along the coast here in beautiful Newport Beach, with little humidity. I think I'll take the SL for a top down drive to breakfast! You watch out for those bugs, "bro!"

Well then, using your logic, we must assume that every car on the face of the earth, that has been washed regularly, has some swirl marks. If that's so, then mine does. Please tell us more Mr. Science!

While a fan of satire, I take issue when one refers to insects as "bugs" sir!
Enjoy your roads and make sure your lovely SL rolls on a set of tires that handle wet roads well.

+1

I have never lived anywhere in my life where I had so many of these great moments. Sunny and 73 in January. Foggy mornings/dusk in June (oh well), but sunny the rest of the time. Sunny and 73 in September. In the summer, down to 65 every night in the Peoples' Republic of Santa Monica!

Needless to say I was very impressed as he did my whole car. I did not buy it as I love to detail my own car with water on Saturday. Stress relief!

But here is website and would use it if I had restrictions

I tried Chadwicks on my car today and it does a great job. Road tar and tree sap come right off with minimal effort and it does a great job on the glass too. Zero streaking and no residue. Good stuff. Thanks for the tip.
