front window clearplex and tint
considering getting clearplex on the front window, has anyone used it and does it interfere with all the camera nannies? We have been avid users of xpel clear bra for the body of the car but i understand that its not recommended for the outside of the window...
also been thinking about one of those heat rejection ceramic films for tints and also doing the front window with the lightest option
any opinions or experiences with those

Can't vouch for clearplex but am a huge fan of ceramic interior tint
Still weird driving on a 95 degree day and not feeling the heat thru the windshield or getting a cool draft when opening the door after being parked outside
I use llumar air 80 on the windshield and 50p on the sides n rears, but you could use air 80 all around if you don't want to darken the glass

i know these ceramics arent as dark as the typical dyed films, do they still provide 'shade" from the sun...
i typically will get 20percent all around or 20/30 setup with dyed because i like the dark look but on the S class i kinda want the combination.
I think recently ive used madico and fx carbon 3m

Tint shop said they all look the same now difference is if you want heat (ceramic) rejection as well, you can see my other posts to see what 50p sides look like with a black interior.

i ended up going with suntek cxp 35% all around, and 80% on the front window...kinda nervous about that , never tinted a front window before
still not sure about doing clear plex , been quoted 400$ just for the front window

Don't go with Clear Plex, because over time the wipers will wear down the top layer and the Clear Plex becomes permanently hazed. I had it on previous cars and I'll never get it again.

You cant be worried about the tint. Me personally have all my cars tinted at 18%. I run no front plate on my Audi and have tinted plate covers on both cars. I don't think anyone will pull you over for 80%.....

Not sure how to interpret this statement because I've been pulled over for no front license plate and for tint on the front windows when it was illegal in Illinois, you need to worry about these things if it's pertinent to your locale

No, you really don't. Whats the worse that can happen? A ticket? No one likes getting pulled over but why change the look of your car because its "illegal". Honestly Its not hurting anyone.
