Distance warning on cars equipped with Distronic Plus
Does the distance warning not appear on cars with the driver assistance package? I have pre safe brake activated and one time when I was a little too close to the car in front on the highway all I heard was 2 loud beeps but no visual warning.

on time when I had cruse control on a car cut in front of me to take a exit (the rat) and I heard 2 beeps. I think the brakes kicked in.
I no not think the image of the car pops up on the screen

That's what I expected. It looks like the car doesn't passively warn you before actively applying the brakes. Oh well. Was really looking forward to getting a reminder that you're following too close. Thanks so much e55phil.
