Check Tire pressure message

This afternoon, while driving back from work, I noticed the "Check tire pressure" message on the display with one of the tires highlighted in yellow. However, the display shows the correct tire pressure, which is the same as in the other tires. I manually checked the tire pressure and it corresponds to that shown on the display. Not sure why it is displaying the error message.. Anyone had a similar experience? Any thoughts?

I had the same exact experience after a short overnight temperature drop. The message remained until I did a reset of the TPMS. It has not happened since!

Interesting... It was pretty hot yesterday. I wonder if the TPMS or the sensors are sensitive to temperature extremes? I will try resetting the TPMS. Thanks for your input!

Make sure you do it cold in the morning before any driving that day.

Probably not, this happened to me a couple of weeks ago, no temp extremes where I live... Although my car had just left warm garage onto cool early morning air; was heading up to DTLA for meeting, it sure caused a lump in my throat when I got the warning message. I reset on the move, and have not had problem again...
