Don't think this is the right place to inquire about someone's personal income.
Some things really have no place on a public forum, and I think it's no one's business what someone else makes.
Moderator should consider closing this thread since some addressed their income. For their own safety.

Just turned 34. Divorced once, married twice and kid on the way🙌🏻. I make actually six figures, not barely six figures. Only reason I didn't get the S600 was not because of money but because of lack of practicality. I simply asked myself "why?".

^wow divorced already?? that sux.......
when I got married I said some things......some vows.......and I made some promises......
now over ten years later it's going great! It's work.......it's sacrifice.......it's doing dishes and mowing grass and painting the barn
I don't make 6 figures, or any figures for that matter
welcome to the forum duder

I'm surprised people give up so easy.....as if one just is marrying lust versus an actual person....and while the numbers you've provided are interesting; and sad.....I don't usually pay attention to these kinds of statistics.......it's true what they say about ignorance and I'm loving every minute of it

S550 W221 & W222
I got my 2014 S550 used with 8,400 miles on it. I am 28 years old. I financed with Mercedes so hopefully ill help bring the avg age down lol
Income wise ill just say I own my own business and I work hard for what I have. I like nice things in life so I have to work hard for them and I have no problem with that.

I'm not interested in what others make but I am interested in what others think one should make in order to reasonably consider buying a 100k car. 300k? I work with a guy who I would guess makes 135K and buys a new 65K E class every so often.

I think it's fun talking about our age, don't have to go into the whole income thing.
I bought my first brand new S-Class which was the W221 when I was 29.
Upgraded to the W222 last year when I was 31.

If I was making 400k and living in Manhattan with a condo, a typical mortgage and two pre college teens, I'd be driving a Yugo. Same money in East Bumf**k Arkansas with no mortgage, no kids to put through prep school or college with that income I'd write a check for an S-class and not give it a thought.
Income is only one factor.

The ideal income/price ratio would be 3.0. So say you want a very well equipped S550 that tips the 120k mark, you'd have to earn at least 360k a year and I mean a net annual salary of 360k.

M-B says the S-Class buyer averages 62 years old, is almost certainly a man (83% of buyers), married (87%), has a college degree (81%) and enjoys a median income of $324,000.
