Question on parking assist
I know that when I drive slow the blue "P" shows up. As I drive past parking spots that have two cars parked on either side of the empty spot, an arrow is supposed to show up next to the "P". I know that by default it only looks for a spot on the passenger side, unless one has the left turn signal on. I know that you have to drive past 50 feet before it completes it measurement process and identifies a potential spot.
Yesterday i drove around in a parking lot testing this. I passed several spots that should have been identified. I believe it identified one spot out of six, all on the passenger side. I could not get it to identify any spots on the driver side even with the turn signal on. All spots were those that were 90 degrees to the car (not parallel parking).
Is this normal? Is this feature that inaccurate or should I take it back to the dealer for a possible fix?
Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.

How often does it work for those of you who use it?
How often did it work when you tried it?
On my 2014, it rarely lights up on the right side and will mostly pass perfect parking spots. It will also fail most of the time when parking, it will sit with the wheel hitting the curb, waiting for Human Intervention.....
If it was an option, this is one I would pass on....
