Painting vs Wrapping

I want to turn the chrome around the window black and all the other accent pieces on the car black that's chrome. Should I paint them or get them wrapped?

Also does anyone know where I can get the rear Mercedes emblem in black?

Have you considered plasti dip? One to two cans will cover all your chrome trim and you can make the mercedes emblem black as well by plasti dipping.

Interesting, I had been thinking for my next car I'd get white (since I may move to SoCal) and was thinking about how to change all the chrome to black. Please let us know what you end up doing.

Thanks Bob. I will look into that. It looks like it's easy to do. Do you know anyone who has done this?

I have personally done this to my car many times! Rims, emblem, and side markers, you name it is probably dipped it. It's honestly the easiest thing to do, just spray on light coats until the desired coverage is achieved.

You can actually use google to look for places to take the chrome trim and put a black chrome layer on top of them. Its neither paint, not wrap, but the real thing.
