Best % Off?
Hello All,
I'm finally in the position to afford the S550. I'm wondering what's the best % off I can expect on a 2016. I would be a 0 work customer as I already know what I want and don't need a test drive.
I have attached my build sheet. Looking at $134,830 MSRP.

2016 s550 White/Nut Brown
I have an order coming in at the end of this month and my dealer already offered me 10% off. I thought that was quite good for a custom 2016 (MSRP $122k). He also said he could try for "a bit more" once the car arrives...

Did you have to put down a deposit? I feel all negation goes out the window if you do. I have currently worked with one dealer and got 8% off.

No deposit on my order... BUT they were NOT willing to negotiate or even give me any idea of the discount until this month (due to arrive this month sometime so they wanted to use current data to calculate the monthly payments, the incentives etc). Initially the uncertainty panicked me but I am very happy with the way my SA has treated me. Not a bunch of haggling and games. Just said ok, this is what I have, it's a great deal, and I may be able to do a bit more (do 12k miles but at 10k price, etc) when the car comes in. Many dealers here are STILL playing games with me on 2015, offering me 8-10% off on their old stock. That's a waste of everyone's time. So it is going to be a white 2016 in about 2 weeks instead.
I truly appreciate this SA and his no nonsense approach. Can't wait for the car to dock next Monday! YAHOO. The only bummer is he forgot to order the heads up display. Ah well. $900 saved.
PS: my 2 1/2 year old BWM 7 series is ending lease in December. It's been in the shop for 3 weeks now. No joke. I have had 3 different loaners (all smell like smoke) although my latest is a diesel 7L series with 700 mile range on one tank that I really like. They told me to just keep that one and they will keep my car! HAHAHA. And they are paying the last 2 payments on my lease. Can you believe it? Never again!
