DIY: How to change center wheel caps!
I noticed that one of my wheel caps had fallen apart. So here is a simple DIY on how to change your center cap.
Tools needed: 1. Knife
2. Center cap (Part# A 171 400 01 25 5337) for 2010 E550. (your center cap may vary)
Take your knife and pull off the center cap.
As you can see in the picture, the new center cap needs to be pressed in.
Align the center cap to the rim.
Press in until it's completely inserted.
Done!

In the past I would just take off the wheel and pop it out with a finger.
There are of course center cap removal tools for $5 or so that are made of plastic and won't damage the rim.
The cheap guys just drill a screw into the center cap (soft plastic and to be discarded) and then pull the cap off by pulling the screw

aye, taking the wheel off sounds safer, but I guess if you're careful this is much easier and faster......I used to change my center caps weekly LOL
