Mercedes-Maybach S600 Review
Came across the review from Autoblog today. The positioning on the car is interesting - a step below a Roller or Bentley limo, but it seems like it gets reviewed favorably. I couldn't figure out how to get the image to embed, so the link will have to do.

I, too, feel the wheels are sensational. I love the look. That said, when I test drove a new Maybach, I definitely noticed that the ride was not as smooth & quiet as my 2015 S550 sedan, equipped with 18" wheels and conventional tires. You would think that on their most posh luxo saloon, MB would have insisted on THE softest, most silent ride producing wheel/tire combination, but they continued down the road of looks over function, which I find amazing.

Enough already with the glass roofs. Return them to the options list and let the buyers have their choice. It's not luxurious to tell a prospective buyer "that's the only way it comes, take it or leave it!"

I do like the stainless, but don't think I'd want to modify my car. Who does the white car belong to? Or are these MB or dealer publicity shots?

It goes on with a 3M double stick backing, and will actually protect the black pillars from scratches if you remove at a later date.

The difference would be the wheels/tires, which is an easy fix. a Maybach with 18" wheels would look horrible though. Too small for a large car.

The car is amazing, but the wheels look like hubcaps IMO. However, this car is not meant to be driven its meant for you to have a DRIVER. Otherwise, if its driven I would lose those old style wheels and keep it classy not sporty but with a different set and non-chrome as well.
