Question Dvd/cupholder cover problem (wood trim cover)

Anyone else having issues with the sliding dvd/cupholder cover? Mine never closes completely on its own. I have to push it the last half an inch. Lately it is also starting to play up when opened. I really need to push it back firmly for it to engage the holding mechanism. Thinking about having it looked at but worried about what all will have to be removed to fix this.

I was having this issue too at one point, the dealer asked me to 'bring it on in' so they could look at it........I went in and they told me they'd have to take the console apart!!

I went to the indy shop I like and they fixed it in 5 seconds......it was merely jammed up in one little spot, have not had the problem since!

Thanks Hyperion. Exactly what I was worried about. Can you perhaps remember what your Indy shop did to unjam it?

don't recall exactly, just that it was barely jammed somewhere obscure
