Noise/vibration at 60-70 MPH

I apologize if this has been discussed before, but my search did not find anything.

I have 2014 CPO that I bought 6 months ago with 5000 miles on it. Whenever I am on the highway and get the speed up to 60, especially at 70, I can hear/feel vibrations. It is almost as if I am driving along a highway that is rough, but this happens on the smoothest of paved roads.

I am not quite sure how to describe it, but it is a rhythmic pulsation that I can hear and feel and sounds loud to me. My wife, on the other hand, does not seem to notice the sound or vibration in the passenger seat.

Any thoughts? The car is due for servicing in a month or so, and I was going to ask the foreman to take a ride with me to confirm that this is not in my head. However, it will be helpful to know if others have experienced this.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

MM

If you can rotate the tires (ie. they are non directional) even if it is just side to side, do this and have them re-balanced. I did this at 9500 miles, where I guess you must be about now, and although it may just be my imagination it did improve the ride slightly and made a noticeable difference to the road noise.

Thanks. That would explain it - I will get the rims checked out.

Just to provide an update.

Driving home Sunday in heavy rain, I heard some scraping noises under the car as I was nearing home. Pulled into the garage and thought I had caught a branch under the car. When I looked, the plastic vent pipe on the passenger side was hanging down. I pushed it back in, and made an appointment with the dealer for Monday for both issues. While under the car, I look up and see a small leak in the roof and coming through the garage ceiling - but that's another story.

As I am showing the service advisor the loose vent pipe, he sees this large bubble on the sidewall of the tire. I can't believe I had never noticed it! Long story short, the car rides well now with the tire replaced and the pipe secured back in place. Not sure if it was the tire or both causing the vibrations and noise.
