Wald vs Brabus

1-comparing the two, which has better fit and finish?
2-for cosmetic upgrade only, do prices compare?
3-does one have to ship car to California or, can local shop do additions?
4-for those who've done either Wald or Brabus, any regrets, buyer's remorse,or secon thoughts?

DON'T DO IT!
Brabus and other tuner "enhanced" cars look great--to some--for about fifteen minutes. After that, anyone with good taste or a lick of good sense will look at you as you drive down the road in your monstrosity and shake their heads, thinking WHY???
Another thing: Absolutely nothing in the realm of luxury cars goes down the toilet faster than the value of a tuner car. You pretty much can't give them away when it's time for a new one.

Brabus is probably by far the most expensive. A Brabus front bumper, front lip, front grille, and front add on parts costs close to 12,000 (euros I think). For 12k, you can get a full Carlsson body kit

When I was a kid of 7 or 8, my buddies and I used to clip old playing cards to the forks of our bicycles with clothes pins. When the spokes would hit the cards, it would make this wonderful, racy sound and we thought we were motorcycle racers. A year or so after that, I outgrew that fad.

With these ridiculous exhaust systems for two ton+ luxo saloons, it would appear that some here never outgrew the notion to disrupt the peace. Come on guys, if you want to reek havoc, buy yourself a Porsche and go nuts. A loud S Class says only one thing: "look at me, I'm an idiot."

I've always liked the look of the Brabus kit more than the Wald.

never purchased anything from either company.....but from what I've seen they are very expensive(overpriced) items with their logo's ALL OVER THEM so you make no mistake who you gave all that money too.......and only my opinion, but I have not seen much from either company in the last few years that really blew my mind......especially on an S......maybe if an AMG was involved that would help

good luck if you do decide too & don't listen to anyone except your own heart

Hello,

Here's a reply to your questions:

1-comparing the two, which has better fit and finish? BRABUS for sure, 100% polyurethane, so OEM fitment.
2-for cosmetic upgrade only, do prices compare? Both are very comparable in prices.
3-does one have to ship car to California or, can local shop do additions? You can have you local autobody shop can do the work. But with WALD, you might need to find someone who is more willing to mess with fiberglass. BRABUS is just like installing the Genuine OEM bumper.
4-for those who've done either Wald or Brabus, any regrets, buyer's remorse,or secon thoughts? We've installed both and hands down, BRABUS fitment, quality, and craftsmanship. WALD is more aggressive in appearance, where BRABUS is more settle and elegant.

Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Thank you!!

"ELEGANT?" Gee, somehow I've never thought of Brabus cars as elegant, but hey, that's just me!
