OCT 2016 Lease?
#4
If you are someone who will not keep this car long (2-3 years), and will not drive more than 15k per year, then leasing one of these S classes new is the way to go. Otherwise, if you try to trade it, in about 2-3 years, your going to take a financial bath.
Realistically, the S550's are losing about 40-45% of value in the first 2 years, and over 50% at 3 years.
From experience I can tell you that although the options are very appealing when buying these brand new, they rarely add any value at trade in or at the auction. Any options are a bonus for the dealer when they buy these cars. Now, with that being said, they will sure add to the retail cost of the car when they try to resale it.
