Rattle from HUD
Has anyone else experienced (and hopefully resolved) a rattle that appears to come from the HUD (2015 S550 4matic). It only happens on concrete roads (e.g. bridges) where there are drain grooves cut perpendicular to travel (like a mini washboard surface). It creates a high frequency vibration in the car which in turn causes a metallic (or rigid thin plastic) type rattle from the center of the dash on the drivers side. It sounds like something is lose between guide rails. If I put a cloth over the HUD projector it seems to reduce the sound but nothing seems to eliminate it.
I have a video of it that I sent to my service advisor, but if I can get some guidance to them on where to look, it would really help them (and me!)
thanks in advance

Update. I was able to demonstrate the rattle to the lead tech at my dealer and he fixed it! The glass was rattling in the frame and was fixed with a small piece of adhesive felt. No more rattle and no dash disassembly required to get the HUD out. Yay!
