Have a 2013 SL550 and am experiencing a tremendous amount of brake dust, especially on the front wheels. One ride around the block and the wheels begins to show the dust. 31,000 miles. Is there a cure that MB Service can do? Also, at one time I remember reading about dust shields for the front wheels. It looks like a number of others are as frustrated as me! Anyone heard of this remedy? Thank you!!

I know that on the SClass there was an issue with brake noise and they went to a different compound. For sure True Ceramic Pads, not just Ceramic coated pads are the solution, however I don't want to put on a set of pads that will affect the Stopping Distance / Emergency braking in any way. It looks like Ceramic is the solution, but what brand is the Big Question....
