My 2015 S550 with 8,500 miles just gave me this error message when I turned the car on today. "Active Headlamps Inoperative". The message stayed on while driving even though the headlights seem to work at night.

Turned the car on and off and message is still there. Anyone know what this is? Do I need to take it in to the dealer immediately?

I'm pretty sure the error message refers to the headlights adaptive feature that looks around curves and not to illumination. No need to rush to the dealer unless they are inoperative in a position other than straight ahead.
