Normal or leaky air system...
I normally keep the ride height up. I know the height will automatically drop at higher speeds. My question is the following. Most if not all of the time I keep it raised. I noticed in the mornings, the ride height drops, after starting the car it pumps back up. A possible issue I have with this is if I park over a raised curb / Parking stop, the car will drop after turning off the engine and the front will possibly hit the cement. If I were to pull away too quick, it can possibly cause more damage. I just want to know is it normal not to hold the height when parked?
Also, there were a few discussions on how long it takes to raise the car after hitting the switch on a 4matic. My early production 2014 will take at least 30 seconds. It will raise the car in 4 movements. It first will raise the back, then the front, followed by the back and finally the front again.
