Arizona - Pricing for all 4 rotors and pads.

I have just over 25K miles on a 2015 S550. Pads were replaced last year due to warranty issues, but pads and rotors are due for replacement now.

With my previous sports cars, I would usually have a local pro mechanic do rotors and pads for me. Sometimes they could be turned, sometimes not. But I had that option. Dealers don't do that.

Anyone have an idea as far as typical pricing for all 4 brakes (new rotors and pads)? I've had prices from $750 for just front pads (ridiculous), to $1,550 for complete rotors/pads.

I'd rather order my own parts and have a shop install it. This way I might be able to get upgrades from OEM. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is in the North Scottsdale Arizona area.

Thanks a lot.

I would think that pricing is similar to most MB dealers. My '14 S550 4matic was totaled by the insurance company at 16k miles so that car never had the brakes replaced (except for warranty repair because of squeaky brakes). My '16 S550 4matic is at 21k miles so that will be coming up soon. But I looked back at some records I had. In 2012 I paid $650 for rear brakes (rotors and pads) for my '08 S550 4matic and in the last three years paid $600 for front rotors/pads on an E Class. This is at an MB dealer in PA. Hope that helps.

If you think those are ridiculous, then you should never (NEVER) own a Ferrari. Pads cost me $2000 and rotors are $3000 (all 4 wheels)
