Porcelain brake pads

Is it necessary to change the whole set up of brakes to go porcelain? In other words, can porcelain brake pads which normally go in the Yellow calipers be inserted into the Red calipers? Any ideas on how to go dustless without having to pay $10,000 for a new brake setup?
Thanks for any help in this because after every 3 days, my wheels look awful.

You should only need ceramic brake pads as long as they are made for your vehicle. Racingbrake.com had developed them for the SL (R231). Not sure if they are having them but a quick call will answer that. Costs were a couple hundred bucks...

A couple of hundred would be a great tradeoff for NO dust!

Why is this STILL a problem? It is obvious that the technology exists to equip cars with brake pads that produce much less dust, and still offer smooth, quiet, very efficient braking, but MB & other companies seem to insist on giving us brakes that make the cars look like crap after a day or two. Lexus cars produce way less dust, why is that? I know the argument about performance somehow being diminished with any other type of pad, but they have been saying that for decades. What a selling point that would be if MB switched to a "clean" or at least "cleaner" braking system. I'm surprised that all the greenies haven't been screaming about all of this black dust going into the atmosphere, not to mention our sewers that run to the oceans, etc.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll be sure to check with this company and see if I can get cleaner brakes. I'm not kidding. After 2 to 3 days of highway driving, not stop and go traffic, I don't drive and brake aggressively at all, I end up with gun metal colored wheels.
