Nav POI distances show kilometers only

Nav POI distances show kilometers only
My 2015 S550 is set to US and miles. However, doing any free POI search, it shows the POI list in KMs, not Miles. I can't find any separate system setting to change this. Regular navigation is always in miles, it's just the POI's that show in KMs for some reason. Solutions?

Pored over the online pdf and car. Even searched for other years. Can't find a separate setting. Anyone using the nav for a poi list, could you verify that yours shows "miles" to each destination in the list (of McDonald's for instance). At least I will know if I am chasing a ghost. Thanks,

I just went out for 15 minutes and looked around on the COMAND system and mine is in "miles". As I was verifying this, I never saw where the option to switch to km was located. System settings allowed me to change languages but not miles/km. I too will try to help you figure this out later as I ran out of time this evening.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. My only problem is in the list of POI's if you ask for one. Everything else (normal destinations and addresses) show up in miles, as they should. However, if I ask for a "free POI search" and input McDonalds, it will list the nearest 15 McD's but all the distances will be shown in "KMS" only. Thanks again for taking the time to help.

Even in the 'list' of POI locations, mine is in miles, not km. I looked everywhere in the COMAND selections and found no place to alter the standards of measurements. One thing I forgot to double check was within the menus of the steering wheel buttons. I doubt though that is where it is.
The mechanics might need to go deeper into the submenus to make these type of changes. Sorry I couldn't help you but at least you know that it is weird that yours is stuck in km, not miles. You would think it would carryover to all of the features and stay within the same parameters....not change just because you are in the list section.

Just a thought, did this happen after your last navigation update (2015, 3-year free updates). Either way discuss this with service manager to request navigation data update that “may” clear problem.
