S63 amg seats vs s560

Hello folks,
checked out the 2018 s560 seats and imo they were good not sports car like seats as expected due to luxury market it is set for

how different are the AmG seats ? And what do they have different in seat settings etc over std S class seats ?

Obviously no S-Class would or should have sports seats. That would make zero sense. The AMG models are sporty luxury sedans and not sports cars either, therefore there is nothing different in terms of settings in an AMG. They only difference apart from the leather patterns are more sculpted side bolsters and seat.
If you are looking for actual sport seats in a sedan, the E63 or E63s are your ticket See E-Class seats below...

Mercedes AMG
I checked out a new E63 for the wife with those seats and she hated them. She said they were very uncomfortable. Sadly I agreed with her.

I would agree that sports car like seats do not belong in a S class, though so many factors (height weight, body type, physical issues like back problems) go into what makes a seat comfortable. True sports car seats (would be lightweight form fitting and without power) like you find in a Lotus (you can order these when you spec out cars from certain brands like Ferrari & Porsche) are not always that comfortable for anything but tracking. I have seats like that in 3 of my cars and though I do not have any issues with them (I am 5'8" 152llbs) many people I have had in the car do after a fairly brief time in the passenger seat. I have never been a fan of Ferrari's racing seats, you literally have to climb out of them, but that is just my opinion. I also not really see the S class as a sports car, but as I said recently on another forum, what we call a sports car today and what we called one 35 years ago are very different things.
