How to tell if I have full driver assistance package?
Hello - I'm looking to purchase a used 2016 GLE350. From the pictures, I can tell that the Mercedes star is filled out (I've been told that's a sign that it has DISTRONIC-PLUS), and also I see the cruise control lever has a rotating top (I have been told that's how you engage DISTRONIC-PLUS).
My question is, how do I know if this vehicle has full Driver Assistance Package - which in a GLE from this time should be - DISTRONIC Plus, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, BAS Plus, Collision prevention assistance?
Any help will be helpful! If there is another way to lookup this info (thru VIN lookup), please let me know!

Hi - GLC has this button that looks like lane departure on/off.
The GLE I'm looking at doesn't have buttons to enable/disable this and other things. I guess they are handled thru the COMMAND center if it is equipped with the features?

However it doesnt day whether my car was built with premium package 1, 2 or 3. Do you know of any way to find this out?

you can tell visually
1) the star is a hologram, you can see yourself in the reflection
2) you have the triangles in the mirrors (active will be included with Distronic plus)
3) you have the icon in your cruise control lever where it turns on to active (As you mentioned)
4) the rest you can check through the BC (board computer) you can search the menu and see what package you have through the steering wheel menu
OR:
5) check with a Mercedes Vin decoder and see what packages the car comes with
