Tidal is coming
Apparently Tidal is coming to MercedesMe in 2018, and will be able to stream it in our cars using the command. It is a really good streaming service, with hidef quality music of all genres; way better than Sirius. Looking forward to playing it on my 3D Burmester.

How will this be delivered? Will it be available pre 2018 S Class cars such as through the internet radio that I use daily on my ‘16 to listened to TuneIn and IHeart radio?

To my knowledge it is coming in 2018, to those who have the MercedesMe internet radio add on. I got the impression it would work on any recently purchased Benz. I would assume we would access it through the Command like TuneIn radio.

I took delivery of my S560 yesterday. Plugged my iPhone X into the car play usb slot, and noticed a couple of more apps, including Tidal! I rarely used Apple car play in my E300, that I traded in. I do have the entertainment package through MBapps, but I’m not sure if that has anything to do with Tidal or not. I assume you have the Tidal app on your phone? Not sure if that is necessary though. I’ll try to snap some pics tomorrow.

Thanks, no I don't have the tidal app. I'll try the apple car play again tomorrow. I see know, it's just a app. anyone can use and via the apple car play. I thought this was something to do with the mercedes me app, thats what threw me off. I loaded the app and the price must have gone up because for Lossless it's $25.99 per month, Std is $12.99 a month. I might try the one month free trial, it would be interesting to see how much better the lossless sounds.

Here are some pics. I have a HiFi (lossless) subscription. It’s by far, the highest quality music streaming service. But you have to have a good audio system to appreciate it. Sounds great with my 3D.
