Traded in my 15 lease back in april for a 17 c300 - 47k msrp $1500 down, 15k miles, lease protection and service for $691/mo. Payment is extremely ridiculous. Want to get into a new S560. Any advice besides lease swap?

best s class lease offer I've gotten so far is $3k down $1400 15k miles s450 106k msrp but payment jumped to $1900 w trade.

 

Trade value on your C300 is about $25K (give or take a couple $K). That's where the money loss is.

 

Suggestion would be to keep your 17 c300 until lease end. If not, you will pay more for the next lease (such as $1400 to the $1900 you stated to cover the huge depreciation in just 8 mths). If you want to change cars like one changes their underwear then you need to pay for your loses by not rolling the loss into the lease if you want lower lease payments or next year when you want a '19 S560 you will pay $3000 per month for that lease (this assumes you first bought a '18 S450 this year). No disrespect meant here but it does not take a CPA to figure this out (by the way I am a CPA).

 

Quit leasing, and hold onto your vehicles longer.
