2015 s550 aux battery location

Location for the Aux Battery in 2015 S550 W222
Were you able to find the battery? Is it actually in the trunk? I have read several posts stating several different locations...so with this, I am confused and don't feel like taking apart the car only to find it is not in that location. Please help :-)

There are different W222 models too, if you don't want to remove the trunk panels, post your VIN and we can double check. I did not read the pdf from konigstiger but it probably states which models it is valid for. Only some hybrids likely have a different configuration.

I also have ab e550 conv. This s550 is one I just bought. I did find the aux battery in the trunk passenger side. I had to remove almost all of the interior of the trunk. It was pretty easy. Thanks for responding. I need to turn on my notifications, I did not see that I had a response.

Just to confirm..
Given the horrendous quote i just had to supply and fit a replacement I just wanted to check on this before i buy one and fit myself.
Its the rear panel in the boot/trunk on the right hand side - remove the cover (had a look - looks like the picture) remove the panel with the 3 screws and swap out the battery behind it.
Mines a W222 2014 350d but assume its the same.
From what i read seems fairly simple and if I can save £160 for 10 minutes with a screwdriver than I'll give it a go!
