Maintenance Question
I have had several E's, but this is my first S. The car is incredible.
I am curious if others at following the MB maintenance schedule or if you change your oil more frequently?
Thanks

Follow the DIC or Once a year. I do twice a year... Spring and Fall. I dump in 1 can of Sea Foam right before the change and let the car idle for 10 to 15min. Drain, fill, new OEM filter. Again, Walmart has the cheapest oil around. Free delivery $19- 5Q container. I do Air Filters every 2 Years as well as the Cabin Filter. I flush the Brake Lines with the Motive Kit every 2 Years also. OCD.

You guys are killing me
I used to drop off the S550 once a year (typically less than 8K miles per) and the dealer did their thing as the maintenance schedule came before mileage. You can pamper your engines with more frequent oil changes but it will make exactly zero difference to the engine. In prior discussions with a Mercedes engineer he considered frequent oil changes in a modern engine a feel-good exercise, nothing more...
Last time I checked oil on a car was in 6 years ago.
