Remember me.... I purchased your old rims... I had them sent to Detroit Wheel, they PVD coated them Black Chrome, I forgot to send you photos.... Question, who do you use and trust to do Tire mounting and Hunter balance....

Will send photos once weather gets better..... I never used Al's, tiny simple shop, but that does not matter if they have top equipment and know how to treat out cars. Will use them in the near future. STAY AWAY from Discount Tires and Service, why Tire Rack still has them listed is beyond me, and I was stupid enough to go back thinking it was an honest tech mistake. Had tires sent from TireRack for my Escalade Platinum since they have a Hunter Machine, 1st, the tech took the center caps off, placed them on the cement face down and used them as a Lug Nut Holder. Stopped that quick.... Then it was taking him over 20 minutes to balance the 1st tire.... He had NO IDEA how to use the hunter machine and was going weight happy.... Stopped that and the owner stepped in and resolved that.... After the balancing, I saw him go for the Air Gun, stopped that quickly.... Asked him what he was going to torque them to, quick response was don't worry, we know what we are doing..... Sad.... Driving home, truck felt a bit off.... Took air pressure readings when I got home, 85lbs in a 35lb rated tire... Cant make this stuff up... Called the shop, again spoke to the owner and he apologized and said bring it back we will set correct pressure, no thanks. Informed Tire Rack, they really did not care, the reviews are made up. Sad... I'm to embarrassed to tell what they did 2 years later to my wife's SRX Learned my lesson.....

that sux... at als they hand torque everything and they are good for repairing wheels. You will often see ferraris up on air blocks and under covers. Its not fancy but ive brought them custom ccws,hres,21"rims and they never scratched any of them. Auberndale your also dealing direct w owners and Ive got many many tires from them w no issues. They also have the best pricing around.
