Agree. The silk beige leaves me flat. Just took delivery of my 2 nd exclusive porcelain/ magnetite s class. Stunning to my eye.
The interior contrast against the black wood is wonderful.

Funny!

I love Silk Beige interior. My current '16 S550 4matic is Ruby Black with Silk Beige interior. It is a stunning color combo (IMHO).

My prior four S Class cars were also Silk Beige, Parchment, etc. (essentially the same color as Silk Beige).

The absolute best color combo on the W222! Gorgeous simply gorgeous. Now I must confess a lifelong prejudice for that color combo as it was the same combo as my Dads first Mercedes (1959 180)

everyone has different taste. Silk beige must be a popular choice bc most of the cars ive seen had it. For me, cant go wrong w black and the porcelain is awesome too.

I prefer Porcelain white/Black. The black steering wheel and lower carpets make it practical and the cooler, a bit more monochrome look simply feels more modern. That doesn't mean Silk beige is bad in any way but I feel the color is a more traditional one. Both interiors look best in exclusive Nappa while the Silk Beige looks very nice with the Designo (Silk Beige/Titanium). But then again, the Designo makes it look even more traditional (but quite luxurious).

IMO the Parchment color of the old MB's was horrible, especially as it was typically in the low-end leather trim. MB has really stepped up the game with their leather interiors.
