I sold both of mine to the dealership. Sure they lowball you but I like peace of mind. I don't want random people coming and test driving the car.

My last s550, I put it on autotrader for a few days... actually had a great cash offer 2 days later but i wasnt ready as I hadnt found a replacement yet. I wound up trading the car for a few g's less 2 weeks later. Its def wrth the $50.00 autotrader ad to see if theres anyone looking for that car.

I read an article recently where some guy bought a printer on eBay and then sued the seller for false advertising. As I continued reading the article it turned out the buyer has a string of lawsuits against various sellers for similar thing
Who needs that hassle. I rather lose few thousand dollars that take a chance.

Lol. I thought it fit in perfectly here.
Not to thread Jack.
To be fair I felt like a G for a moment. I leaned over, lit the hundred-dollar bill in the fire, put it to my cigar then threw the hundred back in.
After that I ordered a Cognac and went home with two girls.
This was in Whistler village.
The end
Now someone buy this gentlemans fine car.

So true... we have some very special members who love to talk big hiding behind their keyboards. If they treated people like that in real life I'm sure they would get punched in the nose.
Then again, if there are that big of an a$$hole in person I would never find myself having a conversation with them in the first place.
No bad decisions Hype....just more or less costly ones here.

Well, for those interested: I turned in my keys to the dealer (MB of Durham) for 45K. Clean title in hand and one less car in the drive.....bittersweet. It was a good car, never let me down and looked nice too.
Thanx for the good times Gents, off and away!

Only set of HRE that is 20 are the M303's, with a small blemish.......they could use a repaint too. They have tires with some life left on them too. I'd be happy with 3K

Well, the car is gone, but I, for one, hope you will continue to hang out here. I’ve enjoyed your wit & insights and look forward to hearing of your new acquisitions, whenever they may come along. Catch ya a little further down the trail. Take care Hype.

Had a blind offer to trade in my 2014 of 47K at my Mercedes dealer on a base 2018. MSRP of 108K.
My car was 145K new. If he thinks i an going to trade at a cost of 25K year hes fooling himself.
I guess a lot of customers fall for that gimmick. I plan to keep mine a very long time.

Hate to say it UnderV but your car is probably worth around 47K. These cars drop in value like panties on prom night regardless of the MSRP, options and packages. Biggest factor is mileage but assuming you have 30-40K miles on yours.
