That's the tow eye. You remove the little cubby hole cover in the bumper and this screws in. Hook a chain or cable and you can pull your car out of the snow!

That is a MB Only Special? Never had anything like that, not even in my 2015 SL 400. Been driving for 54 years, how long have you been driving?

I don't dare go back to my roots in some categories! Celebrating 30 years of sobriety this June 24th. It's also how I can afford driving Mercedes.
