Wrap for my S550?
Hey guys, I have a 2018 S550 coupe and I was thinking of getting it wrapped. I'm torn with two color. Even though they're both red, one is Satin Chrome RED and the other is Satin Smoldering Red. I got a quote for 5500 for the Chrome Red and 2200 for the Smoldering Red. What do you guys think? Worth the 3300 for the Chrome? First two is the chrome red and last two is smoldering red.

First pic is beautiful, go for that one. Is that the cheaper one?

I think you'll need to commit to blacking out all the trim - satin red plus chrome just doesn't look right to me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfwSLis63og

Plun, it might be worthwhile for you to obtain samples, perhaps freebies from the installer, or from ebay, where you can search "Satin Smoldering Red vinyl" etc.

The first pic is spectacular but we all know why... it's of... a Mercedes! Good luck with this. You'll have one of if not the only one of... this color. It's definitely a risk! You're brave. I think it will look cool as hell.

Post lots of Pics when you get it. It's going to be a fabulous looking car!
You know, if you didn't get a paint upgrade to start with and were going to get a PPF anyway, you can start to rationalize the cost better. But in the end you are going to have a really special looking car.
