Best summer tire ride?
1. Michelin pilot sport? -- quieter? Smoother?
2. Bridgestone -- cheaper but as quiet?
3. or Continentals -- cheaper still as an all season?
usually "all season" means "no season" but this tire rep says for summer they're just as good as summer tires ....is that true?

I like my Bridgestone Turanza EL400 02 245-50-18's ride and quietness. Seems to handle nice too with these tires. If it was a sports car or something I'd say go with the Michelin Pilots, but on these cars something like I said would be fine. Just get rid of the run flats if you have them, they are too noisy and heavy.

Continental's DWS are good but I have not used them .My car had come with non DWS Continentals as stock and I had to get rid of them because of noise level and poor ride quality . I had Bridgestone in my previous car and despite being 20" wheels the ride quality was good in comfort mode . Michelins provided a better ride quality than what non DWS Continental tires gave
My present car came with run flat Goodyear tires , ride is not as good as Bridgestone non rft tires sometimes I feel the car wobbles so to speak I think that must be due to run flat tires

I ordered the Michelin 3's as per your suggestion. (20")'....Quiet sounds good.
( plus Vossen cvt silver rims --which look nice on an S.).
I really think a 22 inch tire will feel hard on crappy roads --.which this city of Toronto is full of.

I made it a day with the 4s. The sound and vibration was bad I was so happy with the 3s back on. You’ll like them. I had 22in my old suv they look good but honestly you feel like your gonna kill your back on a pothole. I’m in NY so I know what you mean
