iPhone Bluetooth vs Dock Mode

iPhone Bluetooth vs Dock Mode
So my iPhone X is connected via Bluetooth. When I play music from my iTunes library, the music pauses every time I connect or disconnect the phone to one of the 2 USB ports inside the armrest. I then have to switch the audio on my phone back to Bluetooth mode from Dock mode. This is very annoying. Is there a way to make the 2 USB ports work only for charging, so they wouldn't make the phone go into dock mode? Or is there another solution to connect and disconnect the phone from USB pots so that Bluetooth audio is not interrupted?

check out my post in this thread... if you have an iPhone X you could charge wirelessly and not have to see the cig lighter tray.
