Didn’ watch the videos but the relay trick is pretty old and very common in Europe. VAG (VW,Audi) and BMW are the fastest to crack. At least there is a defeat with MB.

I think the defeat is MB acknowledges the problem and to eliminate that it offers a way of disabling it but it would also defeat the purpose of the keyless entry ,sorry for the pun

That is it or there are key pouches that block signals (faraday cage concept). Both are a bit of a nuisance.

For many in the US this is a non-issue if you park the car in the garage. Important to know that this is not specific to MB, it's an issue with all keyless cars..
