Oil Level
I have a 2015 S550 4matic and would like to know if I can tell what the oil level is digitally. There is a dip stick but it is too hard to read and seems inconsistant. Thanks

Here is a tip I learned as a pre-teen in the 1960’s from a neighbor concerning a hard to read dip stick. The newer oils stay so clean it is hard to see them on the stick. Wipe all oil off the end of the stick then coat with baby powder. I keep a small plastic container with lid in the barn filled with powder. Then tap off the excess. Then insert the stick, remove and read. The white powder makes the oil level really easy to read. Wipe off the stick after the read and return. I have done this for over 50 years and it works quite well. On my diesel trucks this method is not necessary!
